Texas School for the Deaf Hall of Fame was established in 1989. Its purpose is to honor and commemorate former TSD students, faculty, and other dedicated supporters who have made outstanding accomplishments in four categories: Arts, Community Service, Education, and Sports. They have brought lasting fame to the Texas school for the Deaf through their exceptional feasts in sports and arts at all levels and made significant contributions to education of the deaf and to the deaf community.
The Hall of Fame induction ceremonies shall held during the TSD Homecoming weekend. Those inducted will receive a plaque. Their names, photos, and accomplishments will be on display in the hall between the offices in the Heritage Center.
The nominations shall be submitted to the Hall of Fame chair at least two months before the current year's Homecoming event. The forms are included in files here.
